Having another child has helped me realize what I truly need to pack in my diaper bag, and what I could live without. Below is a list of diaper bag essentials that ensures you won’t be packing your entire house because let’s be honest, we all tend to overpack!

* You may need to pack some additional items, depending on you and your child’s specific needs.

  1. Wipes
  2. Diapers
  3. Diaper cream
  4. Changing pad

  12. Hand sanitizer (there are alcohol-free ones safe for your baby)
  13. Sunscreen/bug spray
  14. Diaper trash bags (in case the baby poops, but there is no garbage around at the time)
